Job Summary

Diversified Maintenance-RWS, LLC is seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our floors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various types of equipment used for floor care maintenance, including automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and pressure wash equipment.
  • Dust mop, clean, and burnish floors; strip, refinish, scrub, and/or recoat floors as needed.
  • Prioritize and coordinate with other workers to complete floor care work within the overall scope of multi-trade projects.
  • Provide daily preventive equipment maintenance on all equipment used.
  • Assist supervisor with inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring the use of chemicals and equipment is consistent with established safety standards and practices.
  • Assist in the training of new employees in proper floor care methods and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of floor technician experience or training required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability required.
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of position.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with contractual obligations.
