Role Responsibilities
The Clinical Nursing Instructor embodies multiple roles including educator, facilitator, consultant, and leader. This role involves teaching within an accelerated BSN nursing program and managing educational partnerships that support the mission of the Department of Nursing (DON).
Department Insights
The Academic Partnerships team serves as the primary liaison for nursing programs, overseeing clinical relationships and ensuring high-quality nursing practicums and fellowships.
Key Duties
- Exhibit clinical expertise and leadership while applying educational theories to develop and implement academic courses and programs.
- Coordinate and plan both didactic and clinical education for nursing students, utilizing effective teaching methods that encourage critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
- Act as an educational expert on various committees and initiatives to support the Department of Nursing's goals.
- Organize orientation and ongoing meetings with educational affiliates to ensure compliance with clinical standards and hospital policies.

Qualifications Required
