Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cycling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional rider service, enhancing rider satisfaction, and meeting sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver world-class rider service, ensuring ongoing sales and high levels of rider satisfaction
  • Meet and connect with riders, asking questions and listening to their needs, then providing options and advice to meet those needs
  • Inspire riders to buy, celebrate purchases, and create lasting positive impressions of the specialist, Specialized, and the purchase process
  • Deliver transformative, inclusive, ride-focused, locally authentic, and collaborative experiences for staff and riders alike, in line with the Specialized Retail Way
  • Assist in ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and maintained, restocking as needed, and ensuring product presentation areas remain clean and organized
  • General cleanliness standards are set at store opening, maintained throughout the day, and reset at close of business, including light janitorial duty
  • Use company literature and resources to stay current on product features
  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Requirements
  • Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
  • Current or former retail experience with 1-3 years of experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with riders and team members
  • Ability to work as business dictates, including weekends
  • Ability to stand for extensive periods, occasionally walking, kneeling, or reaching
  • Able to lift at least 20 lbs. or more and use proper lifting skills
