Event Service Specialist

Overview

  • Demonstrates exceptional standards of food presentation, setup, and service during events.
  • Engages with guests in a courteous and efficient manner while serving meals and drinks.

Compensation: $15.00/hr

Part-time role

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately.
  • Assist in the preparation for events, including arranging tables and chairs.
  • Set up table arrangements, condiments, and beverages as required.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Banquet Captain and/or Manager.
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism and care.
  • Complete all assigned side-work and pre-event tasks efficiently.
  • Participate in the cleanup process following events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Some High School education or equivalent experience.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet business needs.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings is required.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

  • Prior experience in a serving role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor.
  • Brings enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the role.

Physical Demands

  • Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist as needed.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
