Substance Abuse Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at WES Health System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in substance abuse counseling and a passion for helping individuals achieve recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with substance abuse issues
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the level of care needed by each client
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as psychology or social work
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling
- Knowledge of recovery models and support systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
