Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team in Berks County. As a key member of our counseling center, you will provide integrated care that addresses both behavioral and physical health needs of clients. Your expertise will be essential in conducting screenings, assessments, and evaluations, as well as offering individual, group, and family counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify client needs
Provide individual, group, and family counseling to address behavioral and physical health needs
Develop comprehensive, personalized treatment plans to meet client needs
Ensure all clinical documentation meets compliance, medical necessity, and agency standards
Collaborate with psychiatrists to support clients' medication management needs
Participate in individual supervision and team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
Maintain direct service hours and adhere to agency standards

Requirements:

PA LCSW license required
Experience in mental health or substance abuse counseling preferred
Strong skills in assessment, documentation, problem-solving, communication, and the use of electronic health records (EHR) essential
Familiarity with the needs of low-income, high-risk populations and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team required
