**Maintenance Operations Manager**

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring preventative and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our facilities, machinery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance of injection molding, blow molding, and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Direct and manage the activities of the maintenance department, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to schedule preventative maintenance activities and ensure seamless production operations.
  • Build and lead a high-performing maintenance team that is responsible for maintaining equipment, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing process improvements.
  • Interface with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects and maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize maintenance strategies.
  • Develop and manage maintenance budgets and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and reliability engineering to ensure our operations remain competitive and efficient.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing maintenance teams and driving process improvements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a maintenance or operations role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with maintenance management software and systems.
  • Certifications in maintenance or reliability engineering, such as CMRP or CRE.
