About the Role

The Schaaf Group is seeking a seasoned leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Vice President of Pre-Construction and Operations. This is a unique opportunity to drive growth and success in a dynamic and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pre-construction and estimating teams to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee and manage all pre-construction processes, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project managers and estimators to ensure accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement company-wide strategies and initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of construction management experience with 5+ years of senior leadership experience.
  • Demonstrate expertise in estimating, value engineering, and cost tracking.
  • Proven track record of producing accurate estimates and driving business growth.
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Suite, Blue Beam, Plexxis, OST, Quick Bid, and Procore.
