Overview: KBRA is a leading credit rating agency with a growing presence in the financial markets. As a Director of Funds Credit Analysis, you will play a critical role in our growth strategy by evaluating the creditworthiness of funds and other investment vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Rating Teams: Supervise and mentor junior team members to leverage their contributions while supporting their development of analytical and professional skills.
- Develop Rating Criteria: Collaborate with experts in other sectors to develop approaches to evaluating complex multi-assets strategies.
- Evaluate Credit Risk: Assess the credit risk of funds, assets, and counterparties, using your knowledge of private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, and asset-based lending facilities.
- Communicate Effectively: Prepare clear, concise, and well-reasoned credit memos and reports, and present them to committees in an efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Experience: Eight (8) or more years of work experience in fund finance, investing, or structured finance.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Math related fields or any subject that results in strong analytical skills.
- Skills: Advanced Proficiency in Excel, ability to assess creditworthiness of funds, assets, and counterparties, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications: CFA or interest in obtaining CFA a plus.
