Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team. As a Procurement Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing purchase requests, processing orders, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review purchase requests to ensure necessary criteria is met, including product quality, price, and minimum order quantity.
  • Process orders with suppliers and confirm Purchase Orders with requesting locations.
  • Assist locations with product or Purchase Order questions.
  • Monitor on-site raw materials inventory and consumption to ensure engagement with suppliers is relevant and up to date.
  • Utilize LPI/Actagro Proprietary Manufacturing Procurement strategies during the PO creation process.
  • Daily monitoring of SAP MRP to watch for imbalances of supply and production requirements.
  • Optimize purchasing within area of responsibility for cost, delivery, and quality.
  • Coordinate the return of products to vendors.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to identify pricing discrepancies and make necessary corrections.
  • Submit requests to create new SKUs and changes to SKUs, providing necessary backup information.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a related role preferred.
