Quality/Production Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality/Production Supervisor to join our team at Valmet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and promoting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of effective quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of effective quality systems
  • Train and implement plant safety and environmental policies
  • Perform and maintain calibration systems of tools and equipment
  • Develop and maintain training programs for in-plant procedures and divisional specifications
  • Conduct root cause analysis for customer complaints, time reporting errors, accidents, and manufacturing overruns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least five years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Quality Green/Black Belt Certification is highly desirable
  • Proven experience with ISO9001, OHSAS 18001, and EMS systems
