About the Role

Rent-A-Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager In Training to join our team. As a Store Manager In Training, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Set daily and weekly sales goals, oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities, and monitor planned results for sales as measured by revenue and growth.
  • Account Management: Oversee direct coworkers' collection activities, follow-up on accounts that require manager interventions, and approve customer commitments.
  • Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and training to ensure all coworkers comply with established procedures and practices for collections, sales, and customer service.
  • Coworker Management: Oversee and provide effective training and development for all coworkers, schedule and organize daily activities and goals, and staff, recruit, and hire for assigned store.
Requirements
  • At least 35 years of retail or management experience.
  • Completion of Rent-A-Center's Store Manager Development Program during training period.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in store operation applications.
  • Valid state driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualities
  • A desire to improve our customers' lives.
  • A dynamic personality that will drive business growth.
  • Grit and determination to succeed in a fast-paced retail environment.
