  • Organizes and schedules appointments within the office or surgical center. Confirms and follows up on all communications and same-day bookings.
  • Processes messages, mail, faxes, and other incoming communications efficiently.
  • Prepares for patient appointments by completing necessary tasks beforehand, including pre-registration.
  • Identifies copayments and outstanding balances, collects payments, and assists patients with billing questions or payment arrangements.
  • Maintains a digital work environment, routinely updating patient records in EPIC.
  • Assists team members by executing essential administrative responsibilities.
  • Engages in quality enhancement initiatives within the care and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensures patient confidentiality during interactions and complies with established policies.

Required Qualifications/Training:

  • Fundamental understanding of computer operations.
  • Capability to perform clerical functions.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology.
  • Proficient spelling and numerical abilities.

Educational Background/Certifications:

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is preferred.
