Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a specimen receiver. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and triaging specimens, preparing them for shipping, and providing general clerical support. Technical Capabilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in the process of establishing, communicating, and monitoring standards for quality and excellence
  • Specimen Collection: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate specimen collection in practical applications of moderate difficulty
  • Pathology: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate pathology in practical applications of moderate difficulty
  • Laboratory Practices: Possess sufficient fundamental proficiency to successfully demonstrate laboratory practices in practical applications of moderate difficulty
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate the ability to influence customers, verify and clarify their needs and expectations, and respond quickly and efficiently to customer service requests
