Warehouse Workers, LLC. is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to oversee the company's procurement activities, including sourcing fabrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills to manage relationships with key suppliers and collaborate effectively with internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency.
  • Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, price, and delivery speed.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
  • Manage raw material receivers and oversee the full procurement process.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Process inventory usage, including cycle counts, adjustments, and disposal reports.
  • Handle vendor payables and 3-way matching for procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the furniture industry, preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Buyer.
  • Proficiency in negotiating contracts and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.

Organizational Relationship:

  • Reports to the VP of Operations.

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 5%.
