We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at AdventHealth Hinsdale. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provides direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and protocols.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, ensuring clear and timely exchange of information.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory or related cardiovascular setting.
- Current BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Illinois.
