Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our Cath Lab team at AdventHealth Hinsdale. As a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians with complex cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate room turnover and setup for all cases in the cath lab using sterile technique
  • Provide side-by-side support to physicians during cases
  • Monitor cases appropriately using the EMR and hemodynamic system
  • Assess and maintain necessary supplies for different cases performed and communicate with lead RT or materials management when items need to be ordered
  • Capture and enter appropriate charges for each case
  • Reconcile billing for historical cases
  • Assist other team members to facilitate daily workflow for the day, which may include patient transport and other necessary duties

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • 0-2 years of experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and IEMA certifications required
  • RCIS/RCES certification preferred

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to radiation. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
