We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Metropolitan Healthcare Services Inc. in Colmar Manor, MD. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, and cardiac catheterization.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation, operating the C-Arm, and scrub-in for procedures.
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies.
- Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center.
- Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- State license and/or fluoroscopic permit to practice radiologic technology if required by state law.
- Associate degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by ARRT.
- 1 year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures, or cardiac catheterization.
The facility is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, with a 40-hour weekly schedule. The EMR system used is Nextgen, and the facility has 2 operating rooms with 200 surgeries per month.
