Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
  • Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
Requirements
  • Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required.
  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Health Care Provider is required.
Work Environment

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital is a 450+ bed hospital that has provided quality healthcare services since 1969. We offer a range of services for our patients, including 24-hour emergency care at three different locations and a Level II trauma center. Our hospital has received the Gold Seal of Approval for Primary Stroke Centers and is sepsis-certified by the Joint Commission.
