Job Summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Processing Instrument Tech II to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of surgical instruments to our operating rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Decontamination, assembly, sterilization, quality assurance testing, and storage of surgical instruments
  • Maintaining inventory and storage of processed supplies
  • Supporting the surgical team through effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of sterile processing experience or graduation from an accredited sterile processing program
  • Certification through IAHSCMM or CBSPD within one year of hire
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate of $27.02
  • Full-time schedule with 80 hours per pay period
  • Mid-shift Monday-Friday hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm
