Job Summary

The Texas A&M University System is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Parking Services Officer I. This role is responsible for enforcing parking regulations, issuing citations, and providing exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enforce parking regulations by issuing warnings and citations, and providing low-level security while patrolling.
  • Move and set up traffic control equipment, perform traffic control and direction duties, and assist with towing of vehicles.
  • Provide information to employees, students, and visitors regarding campus parking regulations and directions.
  • Assist with uniform and equipment inventory, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of full-time work experience.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Must be able to obtain a State of Texas class C vehicle operator's license within 30 days of employment.

Working Conditions

  • Work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Perform moderate physical activity, including standing and/or walking for more than four hours per day.
