Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our Residential Rehabilitation Program, you will provide psycho-social rehabilitative services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assist clients with daily living skills, such as shopping, budgeting, and safety skills.
- Maintain a caseload of at least 3-5 clients and complete documentation on time.
- Work collaboratively with a team to provide comprehensive care.
- Communicate effectively through written and verbal formats.
- Perform case management duties, including linking clients to community resources.
- Conduct one-to-one and group sessions to teach daily living skills.
- Conduct outreach with clients in the community to promote integration.
Requirements:
- High School Degree or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with the mentally ill.
- Valid Maryland State Driver's license with a maximum of 2 points.
- Valid CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Good writing and grammar skills.
- Ability to perform basic computer Word functions.
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
