Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a key member of our Residential Rehabilitation Program, you will provide psycho-social rehabilitative services to individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and assist clients with daily living skills, such as shopping, budgeting, and safety skills.
  • Maintain a caseload of at least 3-5 clients and complete documentation on time.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively through written and verbal formats.
  • Perform case management duties, including linking clients to community resources.
  • Conduct one-to-one and group sessions to teach daily living skills.
  • Conduct outreach with clients in the community to promote integration.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with the mentally ill.
  • Valid Maryland State Driver's license with a maximum of 2 points.
  • Valid CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Good writing and grammar skills.
  • Ability to perform basic computer Word functions.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute.
