Radiology Director Position

Job Summary:
HCTHealthcare seeks an experienced radiology professional to lead diagnostic imaging services at a 250+ bed hospital in Northern California. The ideal candidate will provide administrative and clinical leadership, establishing goals and practices that guide patient care initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic imaging services, including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, ultrasound, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, and magnetic resonance imaging services.
- Establish and implement goals, standards, and practices that support patient care initiatives and ensure high-value quality care.
- Develop and foster partnerships with physicians, medical staff, and hospital leaders to facilitate initiatives and resolve operational challenges.
- Communicate affiliate, operating unit, and system goals to staff, helping them understand the impact on patients, operations, and resources.
- Assist in meeting financial targets by effectively managing personnel and resources.
- Monitor staff productivity and make changes in response to fluctuations in workload.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, with a graduate degree from an accredited radiology school or accredited Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, MRI, and/or Radiation Oncology program.
- Experience: Twelve years of combined experience in diagnostic imaging and managing diagnostic imaging services, with knowledge of and experience with diagnostic imaging operations in acute and non-acute settings.
- Certifications: AART, CNMT, ARDMS, CRT, ARMRIT preferred.
- Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC), Radiology Information System (RIS), and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred.
