Risk Governance Analyst

The Senior Risk Analyst Governance and Control plays a critical role in managing the development and monitoring of enterprise risk governance frameworks. This position requires a strong understanding of risk governance and the ability to advise business and corporate segments on industry practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a policy governance framework that ensures consistent implementation across the organization.
- Lead and support senior managers in several Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiatives.
- Analyze differences in policy management approaches internally and identify leading practices for financial institutions.
- Identify good industry practice for formalization in Policy Framework.
- Develop an implementation strategy and deliver appropriate implementation of Policy Framework activities across the organization.
- Develop processes for review and monitoring, and provide ongoing governance training and education related to the frameworks to Risk Management and business partners.
- Support risk-related mandates and charters.
- 4-year degree.
- 5+ years of relevant industry or risk management experience and/or accreditation.
- Leadership and management skills aligned to TD's expectations.
- Conceptual and practical thinking and implementation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence and ability to uphold standards and influence partners.
- Process design and analysis skills.

- Willingness to consider 4+ years of Treasury Operational experience, including Liquidity and Investments, relationship management experience.
- Success in communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, external centers of influence (COI), and external consulting organizations.
- Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
- Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding goals; proven top individual contributor.
- Banking experience preferably in payments, cash management, and/or liquidity-related functions in a product development or change management capacity.
- Ability to effectively lead and manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Experience of working with senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
