Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director to join our team at Michael Page. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality control processes and driving continuous improvement.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements, as well as proven experience in quality control and assurance within a manufacturing environment. You will lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality-related problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage documentation related to quality procedures, standards, and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working on the floor with production to ensure seamless execution of quality processes.
  • Leading root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for quality-related problems.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Managing documentation related to quality procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Overseeing supplier quality management, including evaluating and approving suppliers.
  • Training and supporting staff on quality procedures and best practices.
  • Reporting on quality metrics and performance to management, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience in quality control and assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC) tools.
  • Experience in conducting quality audits and inspections.
  • Ability to manage supplier quality, including evaluation and approval processes.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Ability to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and related documentation.
