A successful Account Manager at Havtech LLC is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving margin goals by successfully acquiring maintenance agreements, quoted service projects, and comprehensive solutions for existing buildings. This individual will be tasked with identifying and coordinating Havtech provided solutions that can achieve or resolve a client's environmental, operational, financial, and people goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop relationships with new clients to drive business growth.
- Maintain and cultivate existing client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop a working knowledge of all Havtech offerings to provide solutions that meet client needs.
- Utilize account management processes to target customers and develop specific action plans to improve project closure rates and produce profitable business.
- Develop and implement estimates as required to support sales efforts.
- Convert leads into opportunities through effective networking and professional organization participation.
- Lead or support coordinated sales efforts involving multiple Havtech sales groups to achieve sales goals.
- Develop customer relationships at various levels of customer organization to drive business growth.
- Collect and communicate project information to operations to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate and attend site reviews as required to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operate within Havtech Safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Confirm project scope and bill of material with customers to ensure accurate project execution.
- Assist with the collection of Accounts Receivable as needed to ensure timely payment.
- Determine recommended selling strategy and initial pricing to drive revenue growth.
- Present proposals, negotiate price and contract terms/conditions with customers to achieve sales goals.
- Stay current with local utility incentive programs and leverage associated rebates to improve project closure rates or project margins.
- Follow up with buying influences to secure orders and drive business growth.
- Coordinate or engage in project execution as required to ensure successful project completion.
- Resolve deviations in scope with the client to preserve customer experience and satisfaction.
- Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities to drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelor's of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in a technical or business related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Five years of experience in HVAC Sales or related technical field.
- Well-developed sales skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet competing deadlines.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
- Excellent customer relation and presentation skills.
- Basic PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to travel within a defined region at least 50% of the time, overnight travel is not typical.
- Ability to function independently and deliver results.
