Job Summary

Examworks Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical services to support the company's cash application and accounts receivable processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable: Maintain systematic, accurate, and timely processing of all accounts receivable, including invoicing, posting payments, processing deposits, and preparing credit memos.
  • Collection and Follow-up: Conduct systematic review of all aging accounts over 30 days and contact clients regarding the collection of outstanding accounts.
  • Invoice Management: Print and mail current and/or past due invoices as needed, and contact clients to resolve any invoice problems or discrepancies.
  • Customer Service: Respond to inquiries from clients regarding payment issues, outstanding invoices, and invoice inquiries.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and provide various information as requested for audit, and ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable (cash application).
  • Skills and Qualifications: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, fractions, hours & minutes, and possess the ability to compute rates and percentages. Knowledgeable in multiple software programs, including Great Plains, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and the Internet.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to follow instructions and respond to management's directions accurately, demonstrate a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information, and work well under pressure and or strict deadlines.
