Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated marketing advisor and sales expert responsible for fostering growth within assigned accounts, identifying new opportunities, cultivating robust relationships with current clients, and building a network to enhance overall account development. Marketing Advisors are also expected to familiarize themselves with the complete range of Spelman College's offerings when devising solutions and generating proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide weekly revenue projections with an accuracy of plus or minus 2% by utilizing internal sales tools and data-driven systems to create a practical and actionable business strategy to achieve personal objectives.
- Continuously develop a portfolio of clients and maintain a pipeline of potential business by actively exploring avenues to increase expenditure from existing accounts.
- Design impactful marketing initiatives for clients and conduct regular business evaluations to ensure campaigns align with client objectives and surpass expectations.
- Examine critical data points within sales reports, stay informed about market trends, competitor actions, and customer feedback, and modify strategies as necessary to optimize campaign effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to cultivate a brand reputation for reliability, consistency, and trustworthiness, while also establishing a personal connection with local business leaders and professional networks.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Familiarity with integrated marketing solutions and sales strategies.
- Proficient in CRM systems and sales management software.
- Ability to adapt swiftly in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- High-level proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Possession of reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
