Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, inspire associates to deliver excellent service, and establish a positive pharmacy department image.
  • Operations Management: Monitor all functions, duties, and activities for the department, control quality assurance standards, and manage expenses.
  • Staff Management: Schedule and staff technicians to meet business needs, maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all equipment is in working condition.
  • Compliance: Ensure pharmacies comply with local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA, and maintain proper records and inventory.
  • Professional Development: Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills, and maintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct, and attitude.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Licensure: Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
  • Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills, ability to handle stressful situations, and knowledge of basic math.
  • Desired Qualifications: 1 year of retail experience, second language skills, and ability to administer vaccines and provide patient counseling.
