Job Title: Survey Party Chief

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Survey Party Chief to join our team at TranSystems. As a Survey Party Chief, you will be responsible for leading a team of surveyors in the execution of field surveys for public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of surveyors in the execution of field surveys, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supervise and train survey crew members in proper surveying techniques and equipment operations.
  • Develop and implement survey plans and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with survey plans and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure survey data is accurate and meets project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure survey services meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in surveying.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in surveying, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in business software, including Microsoft Office and project management tools.
