Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Representative to join our team at Park State Bank.

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of banking products and services to offer personalized solutions and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and account updates.

  • Contribute to the overall success of the bank's client service initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
  1. High-Touch Client Service: Deliver tailored solutions and recommendations to meet client needs, ensuring their banking requirements are met with care and attention.
  2. Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their financial goals and provide personalized solutions and recommendations.
  3. Account Services: Assist clients with account openings, closures, updates, and general inquiries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
  4. Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the bank's products and services to educate customers and recommend appropriate solutions for each client's needs individually.
  5. Transaction Processing: Handle client transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
  6. Financial Guidance: Offer basic financial advice to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
  7. Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to promote and cross-sell bank products and services to meet client needs.
  8. Compliance: Ensure adherence to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures in every client interaction.
  9. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.

Performance Measures:

  • Balances efficiently and accurately
  • Maintains confidentiality of client account information
  • Follows established policies and procedures in responding to inquiries and requests
  • Willingly participates in bank training
  • In compliance with all regulations related to job duties
  • Effectiveness of communications and development of good working relationships with co-workers and clients

Working Conditions:

This role requires excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to remain calm and precise under pressure, communicate clearly and concisely, and maintain utmost confidentiality of client information.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for occasional travel to branches within the region. English language proficiency is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $42,000 - $60,000 based on location and experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years working in a customer-facing capacity, specifically in banking (preferred), retail, or hospitality
