Position Overview:

As a Client Services Specialist at Hoosier Hills Credit Union, you will be integral to our mission of providing outstanding member service. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with members, ensuring they receive personalized guidance, and connecting them with products and services that align with their financial objectives. You will manage transactions, offer account services, and provide advice on a variety of financial matters while striving to surpass member expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Outstanding Service: Execute transactions, from teller duties to loan processing, with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide Financial Insight: Offer tailored budget counseling and financial advice to meet individual member needs.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to operational procedures and stay informed about regulatory requirements.
  • Build Trusting Relationships: Serve as a dependable resource, addressing issues from start to finish with professionalism.
  • Achieve Sales Objectives: Actively pursue referral and cross-selling opportunities to meet and exceed sales and service goals.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in a retail or customer service role within the financial sector, including cash handling experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of retail and Credit Union products and services, with a proven sales and service record.
  • Lending Acumen: Familiarity with loan training and lending principles is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills that enhance every interaction.
  • Professional Demeanor: A positive attitude and professional presence are essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
