Job Title: Resident Services Specialist

ACCESS, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Resident Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

The Resident Services Specialist will be responsible for providing support and guidance to residents, ensuring their needs are met, and promoting a positive and respectful living environment. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise residents during assigned shifts, enforcing all regulations in the resident handbook.
  • Assist residents in adjusting to their stay, directing them to support staff as needed.
  • Monitor residents' activities, ensuring they are up to date on daily chores, meal times, and curfew times.
  • Document all incidents, including verbal and written warnings, as defined by agency protocol.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' files and logs.
  • Obtain verification from residents to substantiate employment, curfew extensions, and other needs.
  • Comply with agency OTC medication and lock box procedures.
  • Monitor resident usage of agency phones and maintain resident property and storage.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in social services or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to climb stairs, move items up to 25 lbs, and remain in a stationary position during shifts.
