About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team at DuPont. As a key member of our maintenance and reliability team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our Process Safety Management (PSM) and Mechanical Integrity Quality Assurance (MIQA) programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and systems to improve equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
  • Champion foundational maintenance reliability programs, including alignment, balancing, lubrication, oil analysis, vibration analysis, and more
  • Apply engineering principles to perform failure analysis and conduct equipment performance evaluations
  • Provide reliability leadership and coaching to maintenance technicians and site embedded contractors
  • Support mechanical turn-around and shutdown teams, and identify and support training needs for maintenance technicians
  • Analyze equipment trends and historical data to recommend improvements and justify cost savings
Requirements
  • BS degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of reliability experience in a chemical or manufacturing facility
  • Knowledge of building systems, including air handlers, exhaust fans, steam, process chilled water, vacuum, nitrogen, compressed air, and variable air flow valves
  • Data analysis techniques and statistical interpretation skills
  • Systematic decision making, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
