Job Title: Human Resources Assistant

Join Seneca Resorts & Casinos as a Human Resources Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the HR department and staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all administrative duties are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide HR functional support to the HR department and staff
  • Assist recruiters with posting processes and prescreening applicants
  • Process pre-employment paperwork and complete conditional offer letters and rejection letters
  • Arrange with new hire applicants to complete the hiring process
  • Work closely with recruiters and the training department to ensure new hires attend orientation
  • Assist with new hire orientation, including completion of new hire paperwork and issuing ID badges
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
  • One to three years of administrative experience in a Human Resources environment required
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office suite or related software
  • Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
