We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Child Development Specialist to join our team at LEAP For Infants Inc. As a key member of our Early Intervention services, you will work closely with infants, toddlers, and their families to provide individualized support and education.

Job Summary:

The Bilingual Child Development Specialist will be responsible for providing in-home Early Intervention services to children from 0 to 36 months of age, and Parent Education. This role requires a strong understanding of child development, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and education to infants, toddlers, and their families
  • Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to promote child development
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to enhance their knowledge and skills in child development
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of strength and need
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and services provided

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Child Development or related field
  • Three years of experience working with developmentally delayed infants and toddlers
  • Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Development units
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferably)
  • Knowledge of all developmental domains
  • Ability to establish educational and therapeutic relationships with consumers and their families
