Job Summary

Wilbur-Ellis Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Safety and Quality Assurance Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Nutrition business line, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety Plans in compliance with FSMA and other regulatory standards.
  • Lead risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate 3rd party and customer audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee testing of ingredients and finished products to guarantee safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, inspections, and compliance checks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, preferably in the pet food industry.
  • Deep knowledge of FSMA, HACCP, GMP, AAFCO, and other relevant food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
