Job Overview

Position: Crib Attendant

Location: Trenton Plants

General Overview

The Crib Attendant plays a crucial role in establishing and implementing systems to ensure the organization and accuracy of inventory within the hardware storage area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, promptly reporting any hazardous conditions, near-misses, or injuries.
  • Contribute to the creation and revision of risk assessments, ensuring they are reviewed annually.
  • Maintain an orderly hardware inventory.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Assemble hardware kits as necessary.
  • Restock new hardware items.
  • Distribute hardware to employees upon request.
  • Retrieve parts as needed for sales orders.
  • Provide information regarding stock levels.
  • Facilitate the transfer of parts from incoming inspection to designated rack/bin locations in Vantage.
  • Move parts to different locations as required.
  • Prepare and package small parts for shipment.

Qualifications
  • Experience in a warehouse or inventory management setting is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are advantageous.

  • Steel-toe safety footwear compliant with OSHA General Industry Standards 29 CFR 1910.
