Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Clerk to join our team at Teledyne Princeton Instruments. As a Stockroom Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and stocking materials, and assisting with inventory management tasks.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in annual physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain stockroom inventory accuracy by tracking all physical movements through the use of material transactions in the ERP system.
- Perform weekly cycle counts to verify inventory levels and identify discrepancies.
- Receive and stock inventory, checking for revs, lot numbers, and quantities, and labeling and storing items in the appropriate location.
- Return parts to stock from work orders, sub-contracts, and other sources.
- Monitor low inventory levels to facilitate timely purchasing and planning.
- Track expiration dates for epoxies, adhesives, and other materials in the stockroom area.
- Receive, issue, and maintain program materials and documentation.
- Process purchase orders and maintain transactions for production order kits.
- Assist the planner and buyer with ERP problems, material tracking, and other tasks.
- Return unused parts to stock in the ERP system and restock.
- Manage "Request for Re-inspection" transactions.
- Collaborate with the program material coordinator to track program materials properly and accurately.
- Provide backup support to the Shipper/Receiver on sick and PTO days.
- Assist the Shipper periodically on heavy shipping days.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Citizenship requirements: due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
