Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our resort facilities, providing exceptional guest service, and working collaboratively with our team to deliver an outstanding experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping assigned areas.
  • Assist with carpet cleaning and deep cleaning of suites as assigned.
  • Maintain stock of laundry and storage areas, ensuring they are organized and clean.
  • Provide assistance to guests with requests or concerns, reporting critical issues to management as needed.
  • Complete all in-house laundry, including stock, delivery, and gathering of linens.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe work environment for all team members and guests through visual inspection of common areas during shifts.
  • Report maintenance deficiencies to the Engineering department and provide work orders as required.
  • Maintain a daily log of duties performed during each shift.
  • Deliver items as needed to guest suites, adhering to Quality Assurance (QA) standards.
  • Pick up trash and ensure receptacles are clean at all times.
  • Provide assistance as required to all members, owners, and guests, adhering to QA standards.
  • Clean rooms as needed when business volumes dictate.
  • Complete all required company trainings and compliance courses as assigned.
  • Adhere to company standards and maintain compliance with all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 6 months of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Requires the ability to understand and follow both oral and written directions, as well as knowledge and usage of accurate business English and office practices.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Recognizes an emergency and takes appropriate action.
  • Able to establish and maintain a harmonious working relationship.
  • Able to use good judgment, work independently, with minimal direction.
  • Able to perform various duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with established timeframes.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate the Spirit of Service by maintaining the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, management, owners, and guests.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality or timeshare industry.
