Kiewit Building Group is seeking a highly skilled Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in the vertical building industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of estimators and engineers in pursuits to secure work at the right price.
  • Develop and implement task management strategies, resource leveling, and estimate close-out processes.
  • Communicate and present detailed estimates to executive management and clients.
  • Analyze drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work.
  • Review and assist with proposals and other documentation to prepare cost estimates for various projects.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the vertical building industry, with a mix of field supervision and operations.
  • 5+ years of estimating and preconstruction experience, with a minimum of 2.5 years as a Preconstruction/Estimating Manager.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead large estimates and multiple teams.
  • Passion for preconstruction and estimating, with a strong work ethic and self-starter mentality.
