Job Summary

We are seeking an On-Call Preschool Educator to join our team. As an On-Call Preschool Educator, you will work collaboratively with our center team members to implement curriculum and lesson plans in the classroom. You will support our inclusive environment by focusing on cognition, behavior, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the implementation of classroom activities, indoor and outdoor play, snack provision, and set-up/clean-up.
  • Model exemplary behavior with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Assist with self-help skills in the restroom and engage with children using open-ended questions to foster curiosity and encourage involvement in activities.
  • Support classroom teachers with daily activities and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience teaching children ages 0-5 years old is preferred.
  • Preferred 12+ core ECE units.
  • Desired but not required Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's in Early Childhood Education.
  • Desired but not required Early Childhood Education Teaching Credential.
  • Valid California Driver's License/ID.
  • Clean Driving Record (if applicable).
  • Proof of negative TB test results.
  • Verification of occupational physical clearance.
  • Pass a criminal fingerprint clearance.
  • 18 years of age or job permit clearance.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to physically respond to children with special needs.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, stoop, and bend frequently.
  • Ability to sit and keyboard as needed.
