We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Physician to join our team of healthcare professionals at the US Department of Health and Human Services. As a Pediatric Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in hospitals and clinics.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and interpret patients' medical histories, symptoms, and physical findings to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat, prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Order, perform, and interpret tests and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions.
- Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from a school in the United States or Canada.
- Must have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Must have at least 1 year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting, such as a 1-year internship or the first year of a residency program in a hospital or an institution accredited for such training.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
