Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate staff; take messages and dispatch tasks as required for all care centers.
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel patient appointments as needed.
  • Process referrals and update patient demographics from the patient portal.
  • Regularly check and respond to voicemail messages.
  • Verify patient health plan benefits and secure authorizations when necessary.
  • Assist patients with inquiries and concerns regarding medical procedures.
  • Request medical records from healthcare providers.
  • Facilitate new prescription requests and refills, obtaining authorizations if required.
  • Collect lab results, including urgent requests.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical administration preferred
