Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

The Industrial Field Superintendent will be tasked with:

  • Planning, coordinating, and managing all on-site activities, ensuring productivity among crafts, and optimizing the use of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
  • Providing technical guidance, including the interpretation of blueprints and construction methodologies.
  • Enforcing safety protocols and ensuring compliance among all on-site personnel with project procedures and safety regulations. This includes documenting any violations and reporting them to project management.
  • Maintaining effective communication with client representatives and other contractors.
  • Executing additional tasks as directed by supervisors or project managers.
Qualifications

Ideal Candidates Should Possess:

Physical capabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ability to walk or stand on various surfaces, which may be uneven or unstable.
  • Capability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Regularly lifting weights of up to 75+ lbs.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
Essential Skills and Requirements
  • Core Requirements:
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial construction, particularly in the Pharmaceutical, Energy, and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, sketches, and blueprints.
    • Familiarity with P&IDs.
    • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
    • Exceptional communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
    • Strong supervisory and organizational abilities.
    • Experience managing multi-craft teams and overseeing subcontractors.
  • Additional Skills:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Bluebeam and Procore is advantageous.
    • Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are a plus.
