Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Driver to join our team at Genesis Healthcare Services. As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of patients, families, and employees to and from our nursing center for approved appointments and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the nursing center vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Assist patients, their families, and employees when boarding and disembarking the vehicle, providing a high level of customer service and care.
  • Maintain accurate route and mileage logs, ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.
  • Monitor and replenish vehicle fuel and other fluids, reporting any vehicle problems or maintenance needs to the Nursing Home Administrator.
  • Interact positively with patients and families, promoting a culture of compassion and respect.
