About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician to join our team at Alternative Services Inc - Northeast. As a Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses in our residential group homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnoses
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals in developing and maintaining daily routines and habits
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals in crisis
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Ability to pass a criminal history background check
  • Current/valid Maine driver's license and insurable
  • Satisfactory driving record check
  • Ability to attend mandatory trainings and staff meetings
  • Willingness to travel and have reliable transportation

Work Schedule:

Friday and Saturday 7a-7p, Tuesday and Wednesday 3p-11p

Sunday-Monday-Thursday off
