Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Services Associate to join our team at Great River Health. As a Patient Services Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, including assisting with activities of daily living and greeting patients at night.
- Assist with patient placement, patient flow initiatives, and room turnover to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
- Perform clerical and reception duties, including answering telephones, reviewing physician orders, and completing order entry.
- Conduct patient interviews to verify demographic and insurance information, and gather signatures for required forms.
- Provide clerical support to internal and external departmental customers, and assist the RN as directed with high-quality care to various patient populations.
- Iowa Certified Nurse's Aide certification is required.
- Proficient computer skills are preferred.
