Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation is seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Urology team in Beverly Hills. As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and nursing staff in the delivery of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and conduct initial nursing evaluations to assess their medical needs.
  • Manage patient care and take a leadership role within the healthcare team.
  • Prepare patients for provider visits by reviewing current medications and recording information in the medical record.
  • Take vital signs and record them accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Set up exam rooms and procedure rooms according to patient needs.
  • Assist providers in examination and procedure rooms as needed.
  • Perform designated diagnostic tests and procedures as directed by the provider.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current and valid California LVN License.
  • IV/Phlebotomy Certification (must obtain within one year of hire date).
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • At least five years of experience in an outpatient medical setting (preferred).
