Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly qualified Mammography Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for operating x-ray equipment and performing diagnostic procedures to ensure accurate and efficient results.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate x-ray equipment to capture high-quality mammography images
  • Perform diagnostic procedures, including ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technology and procedures to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements:
  • Current certification by ARRT in Radiography
  • ARRT advanced level certification in mammography with documentation of clinical experience, or MQSA qualified and (M) registry eligible
  • 2 years of experience in Mammography, with preference given to those with 3D and digital experience
  • Knowledge of database software, RIS/PACS software, and eRad
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
